New Text Fraud Protection Option

As part of our continued efforts to reduce occurrences of fraud on your account, we have recently introduced a text alert option. When charges are flagged by our Fraud Center as being out of the norm, we can now send a text allowing members to immediately review the charge.

The text will contain the last four digits of your card, as well as the name of the retailer. Following the instructions in the text, if you recognize the charge, you may respond YES. If you don’t, respond NO and we’ll instantly stop your card from incurring more unauthorized charges. You may opt out of the service at any time.

In order to receive fraud text alerts, you’ll need to have a cell phone number listed for your account. Make sure your contact information is up to date so we can reach you right away on matters which may impact your credit or debit cards. You may make these changes at your nearest Service Center or by calling us at 800.865.2612.

For more information about how to protect your accounts, visit the Fraud Center, or read about Fraud Prevention topics on the HHCU Blog.

Holiday Closure

In observance of Christmas, all Hoosier Hills Credit Union Service Centers and Drive-Up locations will be closing at noon on Tuesday, December 24th, and will remain closed on Wednesday, December 25th. We will reopen for business beginning Thursday, December 26th with regular business hours.
