What is happening?
To continuously advance the financial tools we offer as well as increase ease of use for our members, we are transitioning all Hoosier Hills Credit Union HSA MasterCard debit cards to Visa debit cards.
When is this happening?
Mid September 2023: New Visa HSA cards will be mailed.
Late September 2023: New HSA Visa debit cards will be received. Activate your new card immediately upon receipt. If you don’t receive your card by October 2, please call us at 800.865.2612.
October 16 2023: All HSA MasterCards will be automatically turned off.
Why is this happening?
Your new HSA Visa card includes the latest technology in support of contactless transactions, which means you do not have to insert your card into the point-of-sale terminal. Instead, you can tap or hover your card 1-2” over the front of the point-of-sale terminal to pay. Each transaction includes a unique code, helping protect against fraud, keeping your information safe. If you prefer to continue to insert your card into the terminal, or swipe your card to pay, you may continue to do so.
