Hoosier Hills Credit Union was founded about 30 miles south of Ellettsville by southern Indiana workers looking for better banking options for their families. Because we’re a credit union, we are owned by those who are members and our members are who we serve. We invest in the areas where we live and work and grow through the success of our neighbors.

Scott Mitchell brings 12 years of Ellettsville and Monroe County banking experience to his role of leading HHCU’s newest Service Center in Ellettsville. Scott has been the Assistant Manager of the Valley Service Center since 2019 and has worked at JPMorgan Chase Bank as both a Private Client Banker and Small Business Specialist. He is eager for the new Service Center to open to the public so he can meet new and existing HHCU members! When Scott is not working, he enjoys hiking, camping with his family and watching sports.
Debbie Reynolds, VP Commercial Services
Debbie Reynolds has been with Hoosier Hills Credit Union since January 2018 and is our VP of Commercial Services. Debbie specializes in commercial loan opportunities for members in Monroe, Owen and Lawrence counties. Debbie has spent most of her career serving the Monroe county area and is eager to continue serving a market she loves. She is an Ellettsville native and graduated from Edgewood High School. In Debbie’s spare time, she enjoys reading, camping and cooking.
Matt Harding, Mortgage Loan Officer
Matt Harding joined HHCU as Mortgage Loan Officer at our new Ellettsville Service Center. Throughout his career, Matt specialized in building strong relationships with realtors and other referral partners by always being available to meet needs and think outside of the box to get a deal done in the best way possible. He is happy to be a part of the HHCU team, where he “always puts the members first to make sure they have the best product to suit their financial needs and goes the extra mile to ensure premier service.”
Stephanie Harris, Member Advisor
Stephanie Harris is excited to be a part of the Hoosier Hills Credit Union team where she’ll be able to help the Ellettsville community with all of their banking needs. She resides in Bloomington with her husband Adam and son Daxton. When Stephanie is not working she enjoys to travel, listen to audiobooks, dogs, and watch scary movies!
Zach Lofton, Member Advisor
Zach Lofton has been with Hoosier Hills Credit Union since June 2020 where he began as a Teller Intern after graduating from the University of Southern Indiana with his bachelor’s degree. Zach’s specialties range from opening accounts, assisting members with loans and helping with their mobile and online banking. He loves to be attentive to every member concern and provide a solution to a problem. In Zach’s spare time, he enjoys playing video games and keeping up with the Indianapolis Colts.
Kirstin Pemberton, Member Advisor
Kirstin Pemberton has been with Hoosier Hills Credit Union since 2014. She started her career as a Teller and went on to work in the Collections Department as well as the Call Center. Kirstin has extensive experience helping members solve a wide array of problems from consumer lending, online banking support and more. She is eager to begin making a positive impact in the Ellettsville community. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Elias Laborin, Member Advisor
Elias Laborin is excited to be a part of the Hoosier Hills Credit Union team where he’ll be able to help the Ellettsville community with all of their banking needs. Elias has experience working at Personal Finance Company, Regions Bank, and most recently Chase Bank. He loves educating members about credit and how to build it to better their financial lives. In Elias’s free time, he enjoys watching and being involved in all things sports! He is very involved at his church in Bloomington and loves to play Disc Golf.
