New Online/Mobile Banking Feature: Dispute Tracking

Dispute Tracking for Online/Mobile Banking

A driving factor behind our decision to upgrade our Online and Mobile Banking system this year was the ability to continue to build upon it by adding new features for our members. We are very pleased to introduce one of these to you today.

Dispute Tracking allows you to flag unrecognized charges from within Online or Mobile Banking as soon as you see them, saving you time and helping to better protect your account.

You can find step by step instructions to help you submit a dispute on our Online Education page.

As always, if you suspect someone has unauthorized access to your credit or debit cards, steps must be taken to protect your account. Once we receive a dispute, we will block your card for your protection. If you initiate the dispute outside of business hours, you should call the phone number on the back of your card to have the card blocked immediately.

CardValet is a great tool to proactively protect your cards from unauthorized use. It is a mobile app which allows you to customize geographic and merchant limits and even “turn off” your cards until you are ready to use them. CardValet is a free app available to all HHCU members.

We have even more new features to make your Online and Mobile Banking work better for you already in the works! Keep in touch through our newsletter, emails, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn to be the first to know!

IMPORTANT FRAUD ALERT

Beware of Fraudulent Calls and Texts!

Fraudsters are impersonating HHCU and other financial institutions claiming there are fraudulent charges on your account.  The calls may appear on Caller ID to come from HHCU, but they are not from us.  For your financial security, NEVER give out your card PIN, passwords, or verification codes.  If you receive a call, hang up and call us directly.  A legitimate text from HHCU will never include a link, nor will there be no follow up call.

To report this scam or for further information, please contact our Hoosier Hills Contact Center experts at 800.865.2612 or 812.279.6644, email us at info@hoosierhills.com, or notify your local Service Center.
